Our Freshwater Christian College Prep program offers so much more than just an education because we are a community that cares for and nurtures every child intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually.

Our Prep program is specifically designed to prepare students for their entry into Year 1, and is available for children who turn 5 by June 30 in the year they start the program.

Through a semi-structured play based approach, children’s learning revolves around factors seen as best preparing them for a successful start to the schooling experience. Our Prep program uses Early Years Curriculum Guidelines developed by the Queensland Studies Authority, along with other school based curriculum documents. Prep students are involved in many curricular activities such as Japanese, Music, Library and P.E. All of our classrooms are air-conditioned which helps provide a comfortable and productive learning environment.
