We have a vision to serve our community with the love of God that actually makes a difference.

We are a contempary church motivated by faith in a Great and Awesome God and a conviction that Christianity is just as relevant today as it has ever been.

Our Vision mandate is: taking you there…

It’s a discipleship pathway for spiritual growth and not just preparing people for Sundays - but for life.

People growing spiritually being more Christ like to:

Relationship with God
Serving others in community
Serving the world

Jesus said go “make disciples”. We just simply believe that the main mandate of our church is its ministries.

People have dreams and visions. God wants to see them lived out. Young people need equipping and someone to believe in them. Bring these two together and you have life happening – that’s the way of Freshwater, we are about generations not just a generation.

One is our Christian College

with a vision to go to 400 student’s in 2010 and 450 in 2011
Most classrooms filled with Projectors
Completion of our modern 21st Century library
Completion and construction of our huge multi purpose sports stadium
New “finishing strong” grade 12 course
3 new classrooms in operation for primary
New undercover play areas
Bigger playing areas
Another computer lab
Desire to build a new Tech shed for manual arts students

Church Life

Desire to grow our 4 weekly services
Desire to increase our Connect groups (city wide)
Setting up our Vidcast live. 30 minutes – Your Freshwater Church on line
Increase and develop our relevant short courses for our city
Improve our podcast program now going to 28 countries
Continue in “Building the Vision” as we strategise and plan our new Freshwater Centre (Auditorium)
Operation of our new FIT Training Centre for leadership

You know one of the best parts about our vision is we need the help of people – lots of them.

Christian folk and non Christian alike need to be able to serve the Freshwater vision.
