Sunday Mornings at Children’s Church
Join us every Sunday at 10:00am for Children’s Church, a fun and safe place for kids to learn about God through interactive lessons, worship, and activities.
Age Groups
3–5 year olds
6–11 year olds
For our littlest members (0–3 years), we provide a nursery and parents’ room, offering a comfortable space for babies and toddlers while parents enjoy the service. Toddlers can also join the service from our café area, which includes a fenced children’s play area—so they can play safely while still being part of the experience.
Meet Our Leaders
All children’s leaders complete our Volunteer Induction, including background and child safety checks.
Our Children’s Ministry is led by Jill Park, a trained teacher and mum of four, who brings both experience and a heart for nurturing children’s faith.
Learning & Fun
We use The Gospel Project curriculum to build biblical literacy in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Each week, children take home a craft and activity bag to help reinforce the lesson and spark conversation at home.
After the service, children can enjoy fresh fruit, a sausage sizzle, and a fruit juice slushy, giving families a chance to relax, connect, and build friendships.
Bible Teaching
At Freshwater, we use the Gospel Project curriculum. It’s age appropriate Bible teaching.
Delicious Food
Each week children will enjoy fruit, fruit juice slushy’s and a sausage sizzle. We love to bless families.
Exciting Crafts
A lot of energy goes into the crafts at Freshwater. They are very clever and are used to help children remember the lessons.

JULIE’S IN THE HOUSE
During the height of Covid-19 in 2020, a priority for Freshwater was to keep ministering to children in their homes and help them process their feelings in a Godly, uplifting way. That's how our program, Julie's in the House, started delivering content weekly in March 2020.

SCHOOL’S OUT
We had such a great time creating and live streaming a new episode of School's Out weekly for a few months in 2020 for our 7-12 year olds, during isolation times. You can still watch our 8 episodes on replay.
